The Challenge

When reaching out to us, the general manager at Lugnuts Minor League Baseball Stadium expressed his concerns about stadium sustainability solutions that would reduce the carbon footprint in sports facilities.

EcoGreenVision’s Solutions

The EcoGreenVision team of professional engineers has been involved in the design and implementation of many projects. Lugnuts Minor League Baseball Stadium is one of them.

The general manager was extremely concerned with environmental issues and wanted to decrease the company's carbon footprint.

We observed old gas boilers and fossil-fuel-powered HVAC systems during our visit to their central plant. So, we decided to use electrification as the key to reducing emissions and expenses. Through this, we converted traditional fossil fuel systems to efficient, all-electric systems.

Here’s the list of things we did through electrification for the Lugnuts Minor League Baseball Stadium:

  • We upgraded gas-powered systems to smart electric alternatives.
  • We installed EV charging stations.
  • We integrated renewable energy sources; for example, we replaced gas boilers with electric heat pumps, or we used electric water heaters instead of gas-fired systems.
