About Long Beach Unified School District
The Long Beach Unified School District (LBUSD) is a large public school district in Long Beach, California. The building is an old one established in 1885, so we naturally expected outdated and inefficient systems there. However, the systems were somehow updated and renowned.
The Challenge
Still, as the fourth largest school district in California, the team of decision-makers believed participating in demand-response or time-of-use pricing would be beneficial to them. That is why they reached out to EcoGreenVision. And we can vouch they did the right thing. For an administration building this large, demand-response or time-of-use pricing is an excellent way to reduce expenses. Thinking of that as a solution is the spirit that kept HVAC systems running smoothly and efficiently for a long time.
EcoGreenVision’s Approach
Hebat Badiee was the project lead for the Design/Build upgrade of the HVAC, lighting, control, air, and water distribution of this four-story building while it was occupied. You can see below some of our Innovative Design/Build process through pictures of different parts of the work.
